Food Review: Katsu Tofu, Katsu Pairs and Katsu Deluxe

If you are not sure what to try, or craving for more katsus, then, it is a good thing that you can always try two or more in Yabu.

You can start-off with their new appetizers, the Agedashi Tofu and Tofu Katsu with Uni.

The two new appetizers feature fried tofus with different sauces.

AGEDASHI TOFU (Php 220)

Panko-crusted Japanese tofu topped with bonito flakes and grated radish. Served with soy-dashi sauce.

I prefer the Agedashi Tofu as the Japanese soy sauce combination with the fried tofu brings more flavor to my palette.

TOFU KATSU WITH UNI (Php 250)

Panko-crusted Japanese tofu topped with fresh uni, nori, spring onions and bonito flakes. Served with uni sauce.

Even if I prefer the Agedashi, the Tofu Katsu with Uni is not to be disregarded. With its own unique flavorful, creamy sauce, this can sizzle your taste buds.
