SM Hypermart Hosts Miss Philippines Earth 2015’s Grocery, Cooking Challenge

Grocery and kitchen. They go along pretty well, for most women.

But how would this go with the Miss Philippines Earth 2015 candidates?

Before their much-awaited contest on stage, they went through a “test” on their shopping and cooking skills at SM Hypermart Pasig.

Given only a limited amount of time, the Miss Philippines Earth 2015 candidates divided into teams, went inside the SM Hypermart grocery to take a set of challenges first, before they can shop for their ingredients.

After which, candidates rushed to decide their ingredients in a given budget.

Physically and mentally, the Miss Philippines Earth 2015 candidates were tested, even before the actual food preparation.

It was just funny to see how poised each candidate were amidst the rush, emotion, and challenges during the shopping and cooking challenge altogether.

If the shopping and cooking were hard, it wouldn’t be as hard as convincing a panel of judges which include renowned Chef Boy Logro to taste and qualify the ladies cooking.

Just imagine how challenging it was for the women of the pageants to make Chef Boy Logro like their prepared meals.

The ladies presented their cooked meal to the judges as if it were candidates for an actual pageant.

The Miss Philippines Earth 2015 – SM Hypermart Grocery and Cooking Challenge ended with Miss Badian-Cebu Miss Iloilo City and Miss Mandaue City proving to top the rest of the groups.
