Steak, Pasta and More at Vittorio’s Steakhouse in Quezon City

Quezon City is a hub for many different food varieties. And steak is never the least to consider in here.

Vittorio’s Steakhouse is located along Scout Borromeo in Quezon City. The restaurant is simple yet cozy to accommodate a number of solo, couple or even group dining.

Last week, I was invited to try a few from their menu. Though it is named a steakhouse, do not be fooled as it offers a great deal of food other than steaks that are worth the try. Here is a list of what I was able to try last weekend.

VITTORIO’S BEEF SALPICAO (Php 280)

For starters, we tried their appetizers and salad. Vittorio’s Beef salpicao landed on my taste buds first.

The tender, tasty beef proved to be a great starter for the meals. I sure would have wanted a rice next to it if not for the line-up of other meals after it.

VITTORIO’S BUTTER GARLIC SHRIMP (Php 270)

I am not much of a shrimp guy, but the flavor brought about by the combination and butter is hard to resist to taste, more so for guys who likes shrimp.

This is a good way to start-up a good meal time.

VITTORIO’S MIXED GREEN SALAD W/ BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE (Php 170)

Eating greens is the best way to start a meal as it is really healthy. With the Vittorio’s Balsamic Vinaigrette flavor into the mixed green, anyone can be pretty much in a roll to eat vegetables. So whether you’re into steak as your main meal, don’t forget not to add this on your list to have first.

VITTORIO’S CHOP NOODLES SALAD W/ MISO DRESSING (Php 199)

The Chop noodles salad with miso dressing is a MUST-TRY. The miso dressing that Vittorio has on its chop noodles salad gives that sour-sweet taste that made me want for more. The good mix of the greens, shrimp layered with noodles bring quite a relatively heavy meal for a salad. Though, you wouldn’t want to pass this one up as it is quite unique for a salad.

VITTORIO’S SWEET CHILI PRAWNS W/ RICE (Php 325)

Like what I mentioned that I am not a shrimp or prawn guy, yet Vittorio’s Sweet Chili Prawns is another deal. The right blend of the sweetness and not to hot chili sizzles the taste buds right to excite more for it.

VITTORIO’S CLAMS PASTA (Php 285)

If you’re into pasta, this one you might want to try, as the Vittorio’s Clams Pasta is good in its own way. As for pasta, I prefer those of the tomato-based ones, but you can always try this for a change.

VITTORIO’S PORTERHOUSE STEAK (980 g) Platter (Php 2,599)

This is the main entree for a reason.

The porterhouse steak served was medium rare. A choice of either steak rice or mash potato. The Php 2,599 price tag is worth it for a kilogram of juicy and tender choice meat marinated, blended and cooked to perfection.

Bottomline is this is one DELICIOUS porterhouse steak. That if you’re a steak guy wouldn’t want to miss.

You might want to add wine to savor more flavors to your steak experience.

VITTORIO’S BANANA SPLIT (Php 155)

As for dessert, the Vittorio’s Banana Split is never to be taken lightly. With much of the savory food intake, a quick rinse of sweet cold dessert in the likes of Banana split is a good way to end the eating spree.

VITTORIO’S FOUR SEASONS SHAKE (Php 155)

The Four Seasons Shake was a good blend to alternately keep the tastes in check for different meals.
