FujiFilm Instax Surprises PH with New Models

While many of today’s generation enjoys the standard of photography in digital format, others tend to like the “retro” feel of their cameras… and so devices like the FujiFilm Instax emerged to have a following of its own.

FujiFilm Instax was first popularized in Japan, particularly in the young girls segment. From there, the wave of instant printing photos rippled to other countries including the Philippines.

I got a peek on the newest lines of FujiFilm Instax line-up to hit the retail stores in the country this month in their Instax Wanderlust Event held recently in Quezon City.

FujiFilm beefed up their Instax design to cater the posh girls, stylish men and the Hello Kitty fans with FujiFilm’s instax Mini Hello Kitty, instax wide 300 and more color variations of the much loved instax mini 8, and mini 90 Neo Classic.

Here’s a quick look at the new models:

The FujiFilm Instax Mini 8 has two new colors in their roster, the raspberry and grape. The Instax Mini 8 is priced locally at P 3,699.

While the new FujiFilm Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic will be available in Brown- chosen to appeal to a wider consumer audience that wants the fun of an instax instant film camera and the elegance of a refined and sophisticated brown color, specially men like me. 🙂

The Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic is priced at P 7,999.

The large size film used for instax WIDE is even better for capturing great moments with your family and friends. We are happy to introduce the new instax Wide 300. The instax camera has a tripod socket that is useful for group photos. It also has a fill-in flash by flash-on button backlighting to enhance the photos. (P 6,999)

And to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our favorite Japanese iconic fictional character, FUJIFILM Philippines Inc. will launch the new “Instax Mini Hello Kitty”. The camera features a 60mm move in/out type lens and comes with a 0.37x real image viewfinder. With a 0.6 – ? focus range, the Instax mini Hello Kitty camera has 1/60 sec shutter speed and constant firing (auto light adjust) flash which has a range of 0.6m –2.7 m. It also has a mirror that is perfect for self portraits.
