Local media people were introduced to the newest addition to LG’s Optimus line-up – the LG Optimus G.
Optimus G sports a quad-core processor (Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4) that promises to deliver faster processing compared to high-end mobile phones in the market. According to Faith Mijares, LG mobile’s product manager, LG Optimus G is a smartphone that just got smarter.
With the latest Snapdragon S4, LG Optimus G is one of the fastest in the latest smartphone offerings in the market today.
So what does LG Optimus G have that makes it a smart buy?
Aside from its fast processor and LTE technology (for faster mobile data connection), Optimus G has a big screen to offer its users. The LG Optimus G sports a beautiful 4.7-inch WXGA True HD IPS Plus Display with 320ppi high pixel density (1280×768 pixels) and Stripe RGB IPS Panel with 15:9 aspect ratio, showing natural and life-like images; the Zerogap Touch offers the slimmest panel display without diffused reflection for clearer and sharper visibility.
Another factor is a 13 megapixel camera with an LED flash. The 13MP back camera is capable of recording full 1080 HD videos.
The quad-core powered smartphone is supported with 2GB RAM for a more reliable and faster processing of applications.
The LG Optimus G is powered by Android Jelly Bean already (latest Android system as of blog time). With the latest Android and LG’s propriety apps, the Optimus G can do multi-tasking as smooth as possible. Particularly, the Q-Slide wherein the transparency of the windows can be controlled for better viewing of applications running altogether and for easier switching of apps.
The LG Optimus G is light in terms of weight. But don’t be deceived the lightweight feel of the phone, since it can take on sturdy usage due to its Corning Gorilla Glass exterior. It is virtually scratch-proof.
Its 2100mAh battery can take on the multi-tasking and talk time requirement of any heavy-user for hours.
LG Optimus G is now available in the Philippines for Php 26,900.
