Walking around with a headphone on may cool, only if, the design rocks, the brand is popular, and of course the audio quality is good. All of these qualities, Sol Republic has.
Sol Republic is a relatively new brand, compared to ones out in the market for decades in the audio industry, but, Sol Republic ha made a name of itself.
And just recently, it has been making more waves even here locally, by introducing most of its lines available in the Philippines. One tech concept store in Shangri-La Mall EDSA, the Pismo Digital Lifestyle, together with the exclusive Philippine distributor Eleksis Marketing, recently hosted a brand and product familiarization to media people.
In doing so, I made some pretty good personal experience of the brand, and learned a few things about it.
What pretty much like about Sol Republic is its design. Hands down, it is hip, trendy, and very much for a party animal, sort of thing. With its brand ambassadors, called Saviors of Sound, mostly DJs around the world, then, you would know how fashionably more of a “club feel” the headphones should be.
Anyway, another good thing about Sol Republic, particularly on the Tracks, where the head bands are almost indestructible (check the video below to understand my point).
You can bend it all you want, twist it all you want, and it is still good. Of course, you’d want your headphone to be as tough as it can be, so you can enjoy good music all the time.
Plus, the Sol Republic head bands for Tracks are with warranty.
How cool is that, right?
Sol Republic also boasts of its Tracks line designed and customized personally by renowed DJs and personalities.
Sol Republic also has a portable wireless speaker, connected via Bluetooth and NFC technology, called the Deck. Sol Republic Deck is the first of its kind to offer what they call as “Heist Technology” where 5 people can alternately control the Sol Republic Deck.
It comes in four different colors: black, red, yellow and blue. It has a 360 degree full sound, offering that portable, outdoor, music box you’d always like.
