Club Balai Isabel Aqua Park -Taal’s Newest Water Attraction

If you are up for an exciting fun in the waters then this new attraction in Batangas can definitely stir your adventure juices.

With the picturesque Taal Volcano as backdrop, the Club Balai Isabel Aqua Park is currently the largest inflatable adrenaline-pumping playground in Asia floating at the coast of Taal Lake.

Club Balai Isabel Aqua Park

The Aqua Park is an adventure trail in playground that challenges you to do things, more of like the “American Ninja Warrior” only this one is set all in water. Each section of the Aqua Park has its own level of challenges starting-off by trying to balance yourself as you walk through a maze of inflatables.

The obstacles will definitely challenge you physically as the Aqua Park will make you crawl at times, slip your way through, embrace the inflatables, climb up slippery tracks, just to stay on the course — because if not, then you’re sure to tumble or take a dip at the lake just to get across the next section of the Aqua Park.

As for the excitement level, each obstacle has its own way of getting the fun out of you.

As for me, of course the tallest slide at the center of the Aqua Park is what I eyed for. I went for the slide twice (should have been more if not for the time limit, hahahaha) and I have to say that it was fun.

Access to Aqua Park is on an hourly basis. If you’re there just for an hour, then be sure to make the most out of it. I guess, you can do most of the obstacles in an hour, if you are not stopping so much for photos or videos. But, if you are like me who wanted to capture the moments, then, two hours would be ideal.

As a reminder, be sure to take note of the following tips:

  1. Bring a dry bag for your gadgets and accessories (batteries, selfie stick, camera, smartphone)
  2. Bring a head strap for your GoPro or have somebody else to take videos or photos of you
  3. Bring a selfie-stick (like QuikPod in my case) and extra floater for your action cam just to be sure that your camera will float even if you loose hold of it
  4. Sunblock to protect your skin

Conclusion

The two-hour trip from Manila to Talisay is sure worth it with the level of fun that I was able to experience at the Club Balai Isabel Aqua Park. And though Club Balai Isabel has a day tour package inclusive of the Aqua Park, it is best to be there overnight to appreciate the other amenities of the resort and also relax for a night. The hours of excitement at the Aqua Park might be cut short if you go back and drive your way against traffic to Manila. Hahaha.
