If you love Shrek, Po, Alex the lion, Toothless and so many other DreamWorks Animation characters, then you’d be excited just as I am, since, popular international animation studio DreamWorks collaborates with Melco Crown Philippines to showcase the first Edutainment destination in The City of Dreams Manila, the DreamPlay.
“DreamPlay by DreamWorks” is an interactive educational entertainment concept providing visitors with a unique experience using animation. DreamWorks will feature its most popular characters from its hit animation movies like: Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and How to Train a Dragon.
DreamPlay by DreamWorks focuses on hands-on educational activities using its characters to make the experience more enjoyable. Kids are expected to love the activities since it is more like a game to them with the famous DreamWorks characters.
DreamPlay will also feature digital interactive storytelling that will take both the young and young at heart to a whole new level of fun and interaction.
“Melco Crown Philippines is delighted to be introducing DreamWorks to the Philippines as we continue our strategy of delivering innovative leisure and entertainment offerings that enhance the leisure destination appeal of Manila,” explained Clarence Chung, Chairman and President, Melco Crown (Philippines) Resorts Corporation.
“Our collaboration with DreamWorks is a further illustration of our expertise in developing world-class, innovative and ground-breaking entertainment for leisure seekers both in the Philippines and internationally. The ‘DreamPlay’ concept delivers an education experience through spontaneous and sensory play that represents an industry first.”
Paul Kurzawa, Head of Retail Development & Entertainment, DreamWorks Animation said: “We are very excited to work with Mr. Lawrence Ho and Melco Crown Entertainment to build something that we believe is a truly unique way for children to experience, learn and interact with the characters and worlds of DreamWorks Animation.
I believe that the DreamPlay in particular can attract flocks of local and nearby foreign countries to take a peek at DreamPlay. If this can surpass the digital attractions like in Universal Studios in Singapore, then, I am certain that local and foreign tourists, in flocks of family, will surely visit Manila by storm. Hoping to experience DreamPlay.
To be honest, I am excited for myself, my fiancee and for my son. Once DreamPlay is operational, I will make sure that we will be experiencing it.
I mean, let’s face it, DreamWorks has produced famous household characters for themselves, and this time around, the Philippines can get to experience one world-class, world-famous attraction in the country.
I hope that my expectations to go to DreamPlay will not be all just but a dream. Hahaha! See you in DreamPlay!FOLLOW MY ADVENTURES ON:
