After our trip to the Maryknoll Ecological Sanctuary, we headed out to Upper Faireview, (and you have to take this literally, as the road is steep going there,) to have our lunch at Mother’s Garden and Cafe as part of the Baguio City tour package prepared by Azalea Residences for family getwaway.
Mother’s Garden and Cafe is an alfresco dining surrounded by variety of plants. Meals are cooked only upon order – making sure that the food you eat are at its best condition.
The place offers more than food for the guests as Mother’s Garden and Cafe has activities on the side you can do. There are tamed animals a couple of steps down the main entrance for kids and adults to enjoy.
There is also a play pen for the kids.
Being a garden in itself, the place features terraces of different herbs, salad greens and other vegetables. These same vegetation are the ones used for the food being prepared for customers – guaranteeing freshness.
And while waiting for the food you order, you can go around and do all the side activities in Mother’s Garden and Cafe. There is also a place that you or your kids can enjoy clay pottery making. For a minimal amount you pay for the materials, it is worth the try and time – experience.
Plus, if you proceed to the second floor of the place, there is a good line of sight for you to see an overlooking view of some parts of Benguet.
When going to Mother’s Garden and Cafe you need to call for reservation, as the place can only accommodate a number of guests at a time.
