One of the “right” places to be when in Baguio is at Wright Park. Situated just in front of the Mansion House Baguio. You wouldn’t even miss that spot as many people flock towards the park right after visiting the official Baguio residence of the President of the Philippines.
Wright Park is popular for many things. One is a landmark man-made body of water called the “Pool of Pines” that serve, somehow, as an isle in the midst of the street within Wright Park.
Another attraction of Wright Park is its lush pine trees covering your every walk from sunlight. It is a different site going there, especially if you’re too much accustomed to city life (Metro Manila) that trees just flourish around you.
As you walk along Wright Park, you will be able to appreciate Ifugao culture with souvenir photos of yourself or your kids wearing the traditional Ifugao costumes.
You are charged for a fee to rent the costumes as you wear them for taking photos.
And if you’re up for more, you should visit the other side of the Wright Park popular for the pony and horse rides. But before you get Riding ponies or horses are charged on an hourly basis. there, one of the known landmarks there is the stairs.
