Visiting Baluarte in Vigan, Ilocos Sur

And of course, the main attraction of Baluarte, the tigers. Tigers are Gov. Chavit Singson’s favorite animals, thus, he included this known-ferocious animals in the zoo – for other people to see.

The “tamest” among the tigers that Gov. Singson owns, is there for visitors to take photos with. It is located near the Baluarte Animal Show stage.

According to Gov. Singson, all of the tigers in Baluarte are Bengal Tigers.

Bengal Tigers are breed of tigers abundant in India and Bangladesh. Bengal tigers grow up to 600 pounds in weight.

Not far from the zoo part of Baluarte, a tall building coated with metallic gold color is the home of Gov. Chavit Singson.
