Gadget Review: X-Mini Click Bluetooth Speaker – More than Just a Small Wireless Speaker

By Posted on 2 m read

Looks can be deceiving.

Same is true with the X-mini Click, at it may seem to be a keychain at first or accessories you can hang on your waist. Yet it is a wireless bluetooth speaker and more.

At first, I never thought that it is so little. When it was handed to me in a box, I was expecting it to be between 3 to 5 inches tall. But lo and behold, the X-mini Click is just to 1.5 inches or close to a size of thumb or a regular person.

True to its tagline “Sound Beyond Size,” the X-mini Click surprisingly has good volume and sound quality considering its size.

Connecting to the X-mini Click is quite easy. A long press at the bottom will automatically turn it on (blue light indicator). Once on, any smartphone device or laptop with bluetooth can detect the X-mini Click.  Simply just connect the two.

Remember that only one device can be connected to an X-mini Click at a time.

The sort-of rubber around the power button serves as stopper and protection for the lower part of the speaker when it is upright.

Upon testing both indoor and outdoor, the X-mini Click truly serves its purpose of having a clear, good sounding bluetooth speaker. You might surprise yourself and even other people once you hear it perform for the first time.

Here’s a video sample when I used it outside.

What’s good about the X-mini Click is its power amidst its portability. You can easily fit this wireless speaker on your pocket. So there’s no reason why you can’t bring this anywhere you like for that instant music urge.

The X-mini Click, upon testing, can run up to 3 hours straight at maximum volume. It could run more probably on moderate rate.

It takes almost 2 1/2 hours to charge from an empty battery.

Another good thing about the X-Mini Click, thus the name “Click,” is that it also functions as a clicker for taking photos. And in my two trips in Palawan and Bukidnon, I used the X-mini Click for my selfies.

You can see my hand holding a clicker. That’s the X-mini Click in action for the “on-your-own” kind of photographs. Hahaha.
