P 1-M to Top Pharmaton Life Changers

By Posted on 6 m read

“He who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.

A phrase from Proverbs 11:25, that actually, for me, summarizes what Pharmaton is actually doing now in their newest venture, the Pharmaton Life Changers’ Challenge : Success in Numbers.

If you think you have an idea or ongoing project that impacts other peoples’ lives positively, now might be your chance to get a big boost to your advocacy – with Php 1-million grant from Pharmaton – and help even more people.

The Pharmaton Life Changers’ Challenge is a way of the multi-vitamin brand to find and to inspire Filipino individuals to help touch other peoples’ lives in their way.

As  Pharmaton Senior Brand Manager Bernice Jalgalado explained it, the Pharmaton Life Changers’ Challenge is a modern day movement that measures it success in the number of lives a person or advocacy has touched—making a difference and causing a positive, life-changing impact to others and to the world.

“The core of the Life Changers campaign is really about bringing that energy on a positive level, how you’re going to use that energy for others and not just for yourself,” explains Jalgalado. “At the same time, we’d like to illustrate how being able to serve others will also go back to fulfillment of the individual. It’s about empowering everybody to perform in the different aspects of your life through energy from the body and the mind.”

On this latest campaign, Pharmaton, a multivitamin with unique combination of Ginseng G115 and deanol, aims to fuel the inner resolve to succeed and leave a lasting imprint to the lives of the people around.

The Life Changers Challenge is open to social entrepreneurs, advocates, and other relevant groups of people who spearhead high-impact projects and envisions to change lives of others in a positive way.

Simply fill out the online application and submit a short video, plus a concept brief to the The Pharmaton Life Changers Challenge’s site, which will be available starting May 12.

Winners will receive a grant of Php 1-million to fund their initiatives, whose implementation will then be documented as a life changers’ journey.

Taking cue from three individuals who have, in their own fields, been able to touch many lives, Pharmaton presented Chef Rob Pengson, Reese Fernandez-Ruiz and Peter “Futkalero Pedro” Amores to the media to further understand how the campaign can actually work.

From the kitchen, to fashion and up to sports, these three people seems to have been fueled by energy that made them do what they had to do, and continuously doing it. And now, they are finally reaping what they were aiming for.

Rags2Riches founder, Reese Fernandez-Ruiz, who turned her passion in bags to help women in Payatas earn a living, said that knowing her purpose has kept her on track for many years even through the hard parts of starting. She reminded that to be in a social enterprise, one has to take care of him or herself, since, you are the main proponent of the business.

While educator and culinary expert Chef Rob Pengson stressed on the importance of mental focus and commitment in whatever endeavor you are into, the way he did it in his culinary school. He said that it was never easy starting it, at a time when no one thinks it was good having a school, especially of cooking in the Philippines.

Sports-minded Peter Amores said that though it never came to him at start to ever build a street football foundation, yet his passion in the sports and how soccer can help street kids lives’ change have worked wonders for him and his supporters. He is always inspired how those he helped are also helping other kids now.
